SCIT’s PGDITBM aspirants

We at SCIT have the following objective for the PGDITBM program: To develop a Business Management professional for the IT and related industry addressing the niche areas of IT businesses and applied technologies.  The niche area that this program focuses is IT Security and Systems.

SCIT’s PGDITBM is a fully residential program with a fast tracked approach for equipping skills related to IT Security and Business Management and the aspirants get an opportunity to learn ERP (SAP). The Placement cell at SCIT (comprising of students headed by placement officer) assist PGDITBM students in their placements.

From a survey, that we had conducted it was discovered that there are many in the IT professionals who have been in the business of coding and have spent more than 2 years doing this job. They do not have the time to prepare for a competitive exam and neither the ability to forgo their salary for two years. Many of them aspire to change their carrier tack and aspire to get into the functional side of business. Also they aspire to get into the area of Information Systems Security and Enterprise resource planning systems. They do not mind to take a cut in their current package, provided they get their profile of their choice. Some of them have a burning desire to change their current carrier track from being a coder or a tester, as they had to choose this option due to of socio economic completion at that point of time. SCIT’s PGDITBM is the best program, which will match such expectations.

This program will give all such aspirants who have 18 months full time work experience in IT or allied domains, as on May 31, 2014, an opportunity to earn more in long run and also get an opportunity the climb the corporate ladder much faster.

Corporates including Citrix, Control Case, Fluxonix, Fidelity , Kavin Corporation , Krawler Inc, KPMG Maveric, Mitkat, Paramount have visited the campus for recruiting the PGDITBM students and highest package got by a PGDITBM student is 18.79 Lakhs and the average package is 9.18 Lakhs
