Outbound activity

A new chapter of our lives with SCIT, begins with a visit to Surya shivir,a very enchanting experience that would remain in our memories for long.Very rarely do people from Northern parts of the country get a chance to visit a place with beautiful ambience,surrounded by green pastures and hilly tracts,away from the pollution and crowded cities and a chance to interact with a blend of people with varying qualities, tastes from different parts of the country.
The outbound activity which comprised of tasks of varying natures was helpful to inculcate the spirit of teamwork,co operation,patience,listening,communication and presence of mind.Under the able guidance of people with defence backgrounds trekking,valley climbing,gliding ended up like a child’s play and sharing their experiences about mountaineering,forts and weather in Maharashtra was a fruitful activity.It was no less than a blessing for lovers of nature and enthusiasts of outdoor recreation and thrill.But for being exhaustive and the perils of trekking in the rainy season ,it was an enjoyable experience,interacting with new people and learning a lot that leaves us to expect more of similar kinds of experiences and activities in the future.
