National Seminar- Digital Transformation-Diversity in Transformation to Build a Business Strategy.
On September 16, 2023, Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology hosted its 24th National Seminar, organized by the Placement Committee under Miss Savita Nair’s guidance, exploring the pivotal role of techno-managers in shaping Digital Transformation and diversity in transformation for strategic business development. The event featured distinguished speakers, including Chief Guest Mr. Nagaraj Muppalla, Guest of Honor Miss Shraddha Majali, and industry experts Mr. Kunal Moon, Mr. Shashank Dubey, Mr. Ramkumar Arumugam, Mr. Samir Kumar, and Mr. Akashdeep Singh Makkar. Dr. Dhanya Pramod, the Director of Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology, eloquently addressed guests, intertwining storytelling with the themes of diversity, inclusion, revamped business models, and symbiosis, highlighting the motto “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.” Her speech underscored the vital connection between sustainable development, the gender gap, women’s empowerment, and the transformative impact of diversity on digital innovation at the Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology .
Chief Guest Mr. Nagaraj Muppalla shared insights into the future of technology, discussing Software 2.0, Quantum Computing, Trust architecture, and Blockchain. He emphasized equal opportunities, innovation, inclusion, and youth empowerment. Guest of Honour Miss Shraddha Majali highlighted the data-driven nature of the world, the importance of cybersecurity, and the transition to service-centric business models. She emphasized the need for AI/ML collaboration with human elements.
The subsequent panel discussion, moderated by Mr. Akashdeep Singh Makkar, featured Mr. Kunal Moon, Mr. Ramkumar Arumugam, Mr. Samir Kumar, Mr. Shashank Dubey, and Miss Shraddha Majali. They explored various aspects of digital transformation, covering industries from BFSI to supply chain and cybersecurity. Key takeaways included insights into the Transformation Economy, API Economy, Digital Collaborations, Ecosystems, Cloud Technologies, and Cybersecurity.
