My First Day at SCIT

It was 9:30 in the morning when I started towards SCIT. There were a lot of speculations going on in my mind about the campus, the facilities and so on. While walking towards the campus, the first thing that caught my eyes was the Symbiosis Logo. I was so overwhelmed to see that. I reached the campus and I was given my temporary ID Card. The entire campus had students and their parents. I was asked to meet the warden of my hostel which scared me the most as I always heard that Wardens are usually strict. But on the contrary, my hostel warden was so generous and she spoke so well. She handed me the room keys and now I was wondering how my room would be.

I went to my room and I happen to meet one of my roomies. She was very nice and down to earth. I was even more excited when I got to know that she’s from the same company as I was, before joining. We spoke for quite a long time about each other, the campus, hostel facilities, academics etc.

Then it was time to bid adieu to my family which was the toughest thing to do as this would be the first time staying away from them. I was so depressed as how I would be surviving for two years without my family. But this fear vanished when many programs like The Induction, Ice breaking sessions were held for bringing together the students of the SCIT. These sessions helped me in interacting and knowing my batch mates.

I am sure.. these two years in SCIT would be the most wonderful time of my MBA career not only in acquiring knowledge but also molding me to become a better person in life.
