Knowledge-Sharing by ISACA

On 26th February 2022, Team Matrix conducted a knowledge-sharing session headed by the ISACA-Pune Chapter. Mr. Pravir Kumar Sinha, CISA Director, and Mr. Hemant Dusane, Academics Director, addressed the students. The session started with a brief introduction to ISACA and what the committee represents. ISACA has a global reach with over 224 chapters in more than 97 countries and has more than 145,000+ members. ISACA also offers globally recognized certification programs, one of which is CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) Certification. They conduct many conferences, educational seminars, webinars, and virtual summits that members can attend to gain knowledge from global speakers. ISACA offers the COBIT 2019 Framework and Certificate Program, and the student members will get access to many materials for free of cost. ISACA offers online forums and special interest groups, volunteer opportunities in global activities, and member directory and networking events to all the members. They offer access to all the resources required to move forward in career and mentorship opportunities. Mr. Hemant and Mr. Pravir talked about the various benefits the student groups can get, including all the resources required to have a successful career. They also spoke about student groups’ multiple kinds of activities, including capture the flag, bug bounty workshop, and many more. The session ended with a Q&A and the speakers encouraged all the students to apply to be a part of the SCIT student group of ISACA.
