SCIT-UAS Mainz collaborative Project wins the prestigious Impact Prize in Germany

The Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) and Hochschule Mainz – University of Applied Sciences have won the prestigious Impact Prize for international design science collaboration. The Indo-German student teams developed business-centric and socially impacting prototypes, combining design science and design thinking. The award recognizes projects with notable social impact. SCIT’s Dr. Vijayakumar Bharathi and Dr. Mandaar Pande mentored the teams, while Hochschule Mainz’s Dr. Bernhard Ostheimer and Dr. Anett Mehler-Bicher mentored the German team. In September 2023, SCIT hosted a collaborative class with UAS Bingen University of Applied Science, Germany. Dr. Vijayakumar Bharathi and Professor Frank Mehler from Bingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, conducted a collaborative class for MBA-ITBM 2023-25 Systems Specialization students, focusing on SAP Production Planning and business process integration using SAP S4HANA.
