Graffiti is the annual Techno-Managerial fest held at Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology. The two-day event invites students from various technical and business institutions and corporates across the nation to participate in the wide arena of competitions.

It is a seamless and perfect blend of business and technology. The incredible acclaim from the participating students of renowned B-Schools is a testimony to the grandeur and reach of the event. The event lives up to its promise of captivating discussions and a rejuvenating experience to all its participants.

This edition of Graffiti was a special one, with SCIT reaching its 20th year of inception. In the spirit of celebration of this milestone, the theme of Graffiti ’20 was aptly chosen as ”Venti-Cosmo”. Venti, the Italian word for twenty, is fused with Cosmo that defines the infinite, the uncharted, implying the many more exciting future editions to come; the amalgamation of which truly justifies Transcending all Limits. This special milestone is reminiscent of the achievements and the unlimited potential that SCIT has to offer in the future.

 

Graffiti 2020 kicked off with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Director, Deputy Director and Main Co-ordinators, setting the stage for the coming two days of fun and excitement!!  FIFA 18, was the first gaming event which was followed by Counter Strike. Later, “Nautankishaala” (Street play) consisted of various acting performances which enthralled the audience. A business challenge “Launch Wave “which focussed on making a strategic business plan which brings out the entrepreneurial skillset. The next event was “Decipher” which was focussed on solving a case like a detective. Later, the next event was “Infi-Loop” which was focussed on team building and strength. The next event lined was “Blitz-Geek” which was a quiz based on various techno-managerial questions. The first day wrapped up with a performance from KONNECT.

 

The second day of Graffiti was no less with great events lined up for the day. Graffiti’s flagship event “Advitiya”, saw many teams’ creativity and mental prowess was challenged. Teams of 6 participated in this event which tested the team’s problem-solving skills as well. The other event lined up was “Armstrongs” which was a test for the participants for various time bound 60 seconds challenges.  “Nautankishaala” was back again with bigger and better performances on Day 2. Next was the “LAN Rover” event, it included LAN based Games like NFS Most Wanted and PUBG Mobile were planned for the people who love to game. Many have seen the IPL auctions on TV, but in the college fest, the participants got to take a part in it. “Crick Kart” was an event where the participants had to show their auctioning acumen along with their managerial skills to build the best team possible. The next event “Invest-Star “was all about stock markets, and there were many participants who wanted to try their luck at this event. Buy, sell or hold, the participants needed to analyse the situation correctly and come up with the best possible strategy to maximize their profits. Finally, a marketing event name “Sale of Tomorrow” was also held for the participants to display their marketing skills. The other event was” Kirdaar” which constituted of Solo performances.

The students from SIC campus as well as participants got a chance to savour their taste buds with tasty food from the various food stalls.

In the evening, the closing ceremony where the winners were felicitated by our faculties Dr. Mugdha Kulkarni and Mr. Krishnan Ramanathan. The day ended with some magical performances by the Fidelity Band and DJ Shaan for Campus Sunburn where the SIC campus danced to the tunes of EDM (Electronic dance music) and some Bollywood songs. 

All students of SCIT had spent many sleepless nights and tiring days to make the event a grand one which will spur up the nostalgia for the students in future. The entire event got a tremendous support from the faculties and other staff members which helped to ensure Graffiti ’20 was a huge success for SCIT.
