INDUCTION 2018
On 6th June 2018, SCIT conducted Induction Ceremony for 2018-20 batch. “Induction 2018” started with auspicious Saraswati Vandana along with lighting of the lamp. SCIT invited Dr. Rajani Gupte, Vice Chancellor, SI(DU), Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director, SI(DU) and Chief Guest for ceremony Ms. Amrita Sinha, Solution Architect – Capgemini. Welcome address was given by Dr. Dhanya Pramod, Director, SCIT. She briefed students about SCIT and its curriculum. She put light on current industry demands and how SCIT tries to imbibe those skills. Welcome address was followed by fabulous speech of Dr. Rajani Gupte. She briefed the bright history of Symbiosis International University and how university with institute helps students to achieve best possible carrier opportunities. She also stressed on overall personality development of students to achieve maximum excellence. Her enlightening address was followed by Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar. She welcomed students to Symbiosis family and stressed on holistic development of students. She described how symbiosis family take efforts in overall development of students and provides them international exposure. She ended her speech with best wishes for new batch of SCIT. Ms. Amrita Sinha, chief guest of ceremony and alumni of SCIT gave marvellous and inspiring speech. She encouraged students to take initiative in college and extracurricular activities. She stressed on building industry oriented skills and holistic personality development. Her exciting examples throughout the speech, inspired the students for their better future. The wonderful ceremony ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Kanchan Patil, Dy. Director, SCIT. The day ended for students with fabulous speech by Col. Kadam, Campus Admin, SIC.
