The Software Solutions Design (SSD) Program had a fantastic start Dr.Kozaburo Hachimura Professor & Dean, Department of Media Technology, College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University and Dr.Hideyuki Takada Professor & Vice-Dean, Department of Computer Science College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University addressed the participants.

The Japanese students from Ritsumeikan University will spend one month in SCIT -Pune, pursuing SSD Program and also interacting with their buddies (the first year MBA- ITBM) to experience the Indian culture and tradition. During their stay they will also witness the “Ganpati Festival” which is celebrated with a lot of fun enthusiasm, in Maharashtra India.

Dr.Kozaburo Hachimura and Dr.Hideyuki Takada had a tour to Symbiosis International University and I must quote the statement made by Dr.Kozaburo Hachimura, he said “Symbiosis International University Campus (SIU) gives the feel of an American University Campus, the only thing that differs is that some American universities have Airports and SIU has a Helipad”
