The third day of the Independence Cup started off with amazing amount of zeal and vigor. The crowd assembled around the sports arena by 6:15, all set to cheer up their respective teams.

The first match started off at 6:30pm sharp amidst the thrilling crowd. It was the first Cricket match where both the teams were Juniors. The match was between DSDA Juniors and Division D juniors. Division D juniors batted first and set a target of 55 runs for DSDA Juniors. The match kept everyone engaged till the last ball where 1 run was required at 1 ball. Finally, the DSDA JUNIORS won the match by 2 wickets.

The second match of volleyball match began at 8:00 pm which was to be played between D SENIORS and A JUNIORS. Both the teams performed exceptionally well. The winners of the match stood out to be the Division D Seniors. They won both the sets. The second set was won by 12-21.

This match was followed by another volleyball match between C Senior and B Junior. By now, the students were fully into the match. The crowd was roaring loud for their sides of the team. The students boosted up the players by cheering for them. Both the sets were won by B Division Juniors. Respective scored for 1st and 2nd sets were 21-16 and 21-10.

Last match for the day was the football match between D Seniors and A Juniors. The score at the end of the match was 1-0. It ended up with the victory of D Seniors.
