As we embark on SCIT’s 25th anniversary celebration, we take pride in our journey and look forward to a future brimming with promise. This milestone honors our legacy of innovation and resilience while celebrating the collective achievements of SCIT’s community, paving the way for continued success and progress.

The celebrations started with a heartfelt address by Dr. Dhanya Pramod, Director of SCIT, as she celebrated the homecoming of esteemed alumni, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s 25-year journey. Reflecting on the past quarter century, the Director highlighted SCIT’s unwavering commitment to technological excellence and business acumen. A key highlight has been the integration of ethical decision-making into the curriculum, underscored by eight successful Integrity and Ethics Conclaves over the years.

Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and Founder and President of Symbiosis, honored both teaching and non-teaching staff, praising SCIT’s leadership and emphasizing the importance of solid leadership in sustaining the institution’s legacy.

Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director of Symbiosis and Pro-Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), highlighted SCIT’s evolution over 25 years, showcasing its growth from nurturing potential to meeting high expectations while integrating spirituality with technology.

The guest of honor for the day was Mr. Prasad Khambalikar, Regional Director of Oracle Europe, who proposed creating an Industry Forum to enhance the exchange of industry insights with students, stressing the importance of aiming high and remaining determined.

Dignitaries, including former director Ms. Shaila Kagal, Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, Vice Chancellor at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and chief guest Mr. Harrish Sai Raman, Transformational Life, Spiritual, and Performance Coach, addressed the alumni and students, celebrating SCIT’s achievements and future aspirations. Their speeches underscored the institution’s growth and vision.

In a memorable vote of thanks, Dr. Kanchan Patil, Deputy Director of SCIT, highlighted the institution’s 25-year journey. She praised the alumni as embodiments of success and acknowledged Dr. S. B. Mujumdar’s legacy of academic excellence. Looking ahead, she envisioned endless possibilities and continued success, positioning SCIT as a beacon of excellence and inspiration.

A standout event was the panel discussion featuring the “Navaratnas” of SCIT’s alumni. Nine distinguished alumni shared their expertise on emerging trends, technological advancements, and curriculum evolution, including integrating new technologies like augmented reality and blockchain. The evening concluded with a cultural showdown by Symbeats, Ekalavya, and Konnect, offering a heartfelt reminder of the institution’s endearing vibrancy. This celebration, filled with nostalgia and joy, underscored the deep connections between the past and present. Here’s to SCIT’s next chapter of growth and excellence, guided by its rich heritage and a shared vision for the future.
